Parties and Field Trips

When you book a birthday party with us, we supply full use of the facilities, a private room for you and your guests, and someone who will assist with set up, and clean up if needed. For every 4 children, 1 adult must be present at the party and all food and beverages must be kept in the designated party room.

You must bring the following with you: paper products (paper plates, paper cups, etc.), plastic silverware, tablecloths (up to three), cake knife if needed, refreshments, and decorations (please do not adhere or tack anything to the walls, doors, or windows). Also, please DO NOT bring latex balloons or peanut products into the museum.

Parties can be booked during business hours on Saturdays and Sundays and during non-business hours on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings and evenings. Please click on one of the button below to fill out the party request form and we’ll be in touch shortly to finalize your party!

Please review the museum rules before scheduling parties. Children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult at all times, all food and beverages only allowed in the party room, and absolutely NO alcohol or smoking allowed anywhere inside the museum or on museum grounds.

Party Rental Rates and Additional Fees

Booking a party requires a $50 deposit. Cancellations made at least 30 days from the scheduled party date receive half of the deposit back. Cancellations made less than 30 days from the scheduled party date forfeit their deposit.

Field Trips

When you schedule a field trip with us, we supply full use of the facilities, a lunch room for up to 28 people with notification at the time of booking—larger groups can have multiple lunch times, and someone who will assist with set up and clean up if needed. Access to an outdoor grassy area with picnic tables may also be available, weather permitting. No peanut products please.

A minimum of 10 students over 12 months old are required to receive the group rate and free chaperones. There must be one chaperone, at least 18 years old, for every five children grades preschool to third grade. There must be one chaperone, at least 18 years old, for every eight children in grades 4 and up. Groups that bring more chaperones than needed will be charged for each additional chaperone.
